Nasza Japonia is a Japanese culture festival held every year in several Polish cities. Last year we visited Kraków, Warsaw, Katowice, Częstochowa and Toruń among others, turning each of them into a beautiful piece of Japan. It was inspiring and it was beautiful. Our fairs mean workshops, shows, Japanese food, martial arts, contests, cosplay and a great deal of fun. Every edition drew 3,500 – 6,000 visitors, which made the atmosphere simply outstanding. The festival is organised by FeelGood Events.
Nasza Japonia was created to bring the richness and variety of Japanese culture closer to people in Poland. We show not only the tradition and art of the Land of the Rising Sun, but also how naturally it blends with the present day — from food, through design, to modern technology. It is a space where cultures meet and bridges between Poland and Japan are built.
We want every visitor — whatever their age — to experience Japan in an authentic way and leave with inspiration, knowledge and memories that last.

Six zones, dozens of programme items and two days when something is always happening.
Ramen cooked on the spot, sushi shaped in front of you, takoyaki straight off the griddle, gyoza, onigiri and bento. Plus hand-whisked matcha, wagashi and Japanese sweets you will not find in a supermarket. More than a dozen food stands, always with vegetarian options.
A samurai show with live fights, kendo in full bōgu, iaido — the art of drawing the sword in a single move — aikido and karate. The demonstrations are led by long-time practitioners, and after each block you can step onto the mat and try it yourself with an instructor.
A contest on the main stage with a jury and prizes, and beside it a full day of meetings with costume makers. Characters from anime, manga and games, from the classics to this year’s releases. Come in costume, or simply watch how outfits sewn over months come together.
Brush calligraphy, origami, the tea ceremony and your first sentences in Japanese. Classes run in small groups with all materials provided. Separate blocks for children and adults, no booking needed.
Taiko drums you can hear across the whole hall, traditional and contemporary dance, concerts and special guests. The stage programme runs across both days, so whenever you arrive, something is just about to start.
Hand-fired ceramics, tea bowls, maneki-neko, furoshiki, pins and washi paper. Dozens of stands with goods imported from Japan and work by Polish makers. At most of them stands the person who made it, happy to tell you the story.

In the 2026/2027 season the festival visits five venues: Warsaw (Bracia Jabłkowscy Department Store, 3–4 Oct 2026), Katowice (Szyb Wilson Gallery, 17–18 Oct 2026), Częstochowa (Sports Hall, 7–8 Nov 2026), Rzeszów (Podpromie Hall, 21–22 Nov 2026) and Katowice again (MCK, 3–4 Apr 2027).
Tickets for Warsaw and Katowice are sold online at ebilet.pl — the buttons in the Tickets section take you there. For Częstochowa, Rzeszów and Katowice MCK sales start later; leave your e-mail address and we will tell you when they open.

Yes, it is an event for the whole family. The programme is built so that everyone — whatever their age — can experience Japan: the workshops, shows and food zone are open to all.
Yes, and we strongly encourage it. Cosplay is one of the biggest parts of the festival — we run a cosplay and anime contest with a jury and prizes on the main stage. Come dressed as a character from anime, manga or games and enter the contest, or simply show off your outfit.

Yes. The food zone serves ramen, sushi, takoyaki, gyoza, matcha and Japanese sweets, including vegetarian and vegan options. It is open throughout the event.
